Bloomfield, N.J. — October 9 — The Bloomfield Fire Department marked Fire Prevention Week with visits to Foundations Prep School and The Maarif School.
Firefighters discussed basic fire safety, demonstrated their gear and apparatus, and answered student questions. The outreach aimed to help young residents understand how to stay safe and prevent fires in their homes and schools.
