Tuckahoe, N.J. — September 30 — On Tuesday night, members of the Rio Grande Fire Company joined the Tuckahoe Volunteer Fire Department for a joint training session focused on vehicle stabilization during extrication.
Firefighters trained with air bags, cribbing, and hydraulic struts—emphasizing not just tool operation but also the critical role of teamwork in ensuring safe and efficient rescues.
These hands-on sessions help strengthen coordination between departments and enhance preparedness for complex rescue incidents.
