October 8, 2025 — While Squad 12-31 and Rescue 12-38 were covering Hammonton Fire Department Station 1, Ladder 12-36 from the Collings Lakes Fire Department was special called to assist at a working fire at 196 Weymouth Road at approximately 11:09 p.m.
Upon arrival, Ladder 12-36 and its crew of four firefighters joined suppression efforts on a deep-seated pile of composite track mats, which required extensive overhaul and extinguishment operations. Firefighters worked diligently for nearly six hours, ensuring the fire was fully contained and prevented from spreading further.
Ladder 12-36 cleared the scene around 5:15 a.m. the following morning. No personnel injuries were reported during the incident.
The Collings Lakes Fire Department commended the professionalism and endurance of all responding crews who operated through the night to bring the situation under control.
