Munhall, PA - The department’s volunteers reviewed vehicle rescue operations. The training focused on key topics such as vehicle stabilization, identifying and managing hazards around a vehicle, and exploring various methods for gaining patient access and extrication. Techniques discussed included the roof flap, dash roll, modified dash roll, and full side removal.

Special thanks were extended to Mac’s Towing for storing the donated vehicle and generously providing a second car for training purposes.

Those interested in joining are encouraged to stop by any Wednesday evening after 6:30 p.m. or message the department for more information. No experience is necessary—training is fully provided.
