Monroeville, PA - As the drill was about to begin, fire units were dispatched to a reported kitchen fire in an apartment within Company 6’s first due area. Truck 4 arrived first on the scene alongside the Deputy Chief and discovered a small fire on top of the stove. Crews quickly contained the blaze to the area of origin using a water can. Ventilation was performed while the Outside Team checked the roof and upper areas for extension. Command was held by C-41.
