The McAfee Fire Department proudly participated in the 2025 Sussex County Firemen’s Parade, marking another successful showing for the department and its members.
It was a day filled with camaraderie and community spirit — and a rewarding one, too. McAfee FD took home 1st Place for Best Appearing Aerial Apparatus, recognizing the department’s dedication to detail and pride in its equipment.
“Congratulations to all of our members who worked hard every night this week cleaning and preparing for today,” the department shared. “Great job by the Montague Volunteer Fire Department for hosting this year’s parade and putting on such a great event.”
The department’s participation highlighted not only their commitment to service, but also the teamwork and pride that define the Sussex County fire service.
