Ogdensburg Fire Department Earns Multiple Honors at County Parade

The Ogdensburg Fire Department proudly participated in the 105th Sussex County Firemen’s Association Parade, hosted by the Montague Fire Department in celebration of their 75th anniversary.

In the weeks leading up to the event, members dedicated long hours to preparing the apparatus, polishing equipment, and ensuring every detail was parade-ready. “Win or lose, it’s a day of dedication, fun, and celebration,” the department shared, emphasizing the teamwork and pride that define the fire service.

Their hard work paid off as Ogdensburg brought home several top awards:

?? 2nd Place – Color Guard

?? 2nd Place – Best Appearing Large Company

?? 1st Place – Best Appearing Engine (1–10 years)

?? 1st Place – Marching Band (Middletown Band)

?? Ogdensburg VFW Post 10152 – 1st Place Military Color Guard

The department extended congratulations to Montague Fire Department for hosting an exceptional event and marking their milestone year.

“Parade day is about honoring our tradition and celebrating the commitment of every volunteer who keeps our community safe,” the department added.
