Press Release: Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash Under Investigation
Sept. 29, 2025 — At approximately 5:26 p.m., the Cranford Police Department and Cranford Fire Department responded to Burnside Avenue following reports that two individuals had been struck by a single motor vehicle.
Upon arrival, responders located two injured individuals who were immediately transported to nearby hospitals. Tragically, both victims were later pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle was subsequently located and taken into custody by members of the Cranford and Garwood Police Departments.
