260 Engine Extinguishes Vehicle Fire on Route 28 South Near Shaler Pump House

03 October 2025 - 260 Engine responded to a working vehicle fire on Route 28 South, just past the Shaler Pump House. Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle fully involved. The firefighters quickly deployed the 150-foot bumper line and brought the fire under control. Thanks to their prompt and efficient response, the blaze was extinguished without further incident, ensuring the safety of motorists and preventing the fire from spreading.
