Huntington Volunteer Fire Company #1 Shares September Activity Report and Upcoming Events
The Huntington Volunteer Fire Company #1 reported a total of 22 calls for service during September, consisting of 12 EMS calls and 10 fire-related incidents.
In addition to emergency responses, members attended the 2025 Firefighters Convention in Wildwood, participated in a mutual aid walkthrough at the new warehouses with 82 Fire, and completed several work details to clean and organize Stations 1 and 2. On September 27, members showed their support for Bloomsbury Fire Company by attending a pasta dinner fundraiser for their brother firefighter, Tyler. The company also hosted its first community breakfast of the season, expressing appreciation to all residents who came out to support the event.
Looking ahead, the department has a busy October schedule, including:
- October 18: Duck Race (2–5 p.m.)
- October 18: Pohat Trunk or Treat (2–4 p.m.)
- October 25: Ladies Auxiliary Craft Show (9 a.m.–3 p.m.)
- October 26: Monthly Breakfast
- October 26: Phillipsburg/Easton Parade (3 p.m.)
- October 31: Halloween Standby
