WARREN, N.J., Oct. 2025 — In recognition of Fire Prevention Month, members of the Mt. Bethel Fire Company visited Central School to teach students key lessons in fire safety and prevention. Firefighters led age-appropriate discussions on smoke alarms, home escape plans, and when to call 911, emphasizing practical steps students can share with their families.
The department also thanked Central School for a generous donation supporting equipment, training, and community outreach. “It’s an honor to share lifesaving lessons with the next generation, and we’re grateful for the school’s support,” officials said.
The company is welcoming new volunteers. Those interested can email mtbethelfire@gmail.com, send a direct message, or stop by the station at 128 Mt. Bethel Road, Warren, any Wednesday at 7 p.m.
