Alpha Volunteer Fire Department Mourns Passing of Phillipsburg Police Detective Sergeant Brett Marino
The officers and members of the Alpha Volunteer Fire Company, along with the Ladies Auxiliary, are deeply saddened by the passing of Phillipsburg Police Department Detective Sergeant Brett Marino.
Sergeant Marino was widely admired for his commitment to public service and his strong ties to the community. Members of the fire company recalled his kindness, humor, and supportive nature, noting that he was not only a trusted colleague but also a true friend to many within the department.
“Brett was an incredible person who dedicated his life to serving others. His jokes, his personality, and his generosity touched everyone who knew him. He will be sorely missed,” the department said in a statement.
