Hancock Fire Department Logs 61 Calls in Busy September

Hancock, Maine — Oct 23: With 61 calls, just a little less than August's total, September proved to be another busy month for the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department. One woods fire, one mutual-aid camper fire, one standby at station, one permitted burn investigation, one personal injury accident, and 56 medical calls were among the responses, according to the department's report. With that, there have been 473 calls made so far in 2025.
