On Sunday October 10th 2021 the Mastic Fire Department Chemical Company #1 hosted there open house for fire safety month. They had there explorers recruiting for new members, department recruitment. Suffolk County Sheriff Department for child safety. Suffolk County Fire Marshals for K9 demonstrations and teaching kids how to use a fire extinguisher. They also had trucks on display. Suffolk County Police Department Highway Patrol was there for vehicle safety.
