Naugatuck, CT - On Friday, October 3, at approximately 5:40 p.m., the Naugatuck Fire Department responded to reports of a shed fire at 46 Bridge Street. Upon arrival, crews found a shed and garage fully involved, with flames beginning to extend to a nearby apartment building.

C Shift firefighters acted quickly to bring the fire under control, preventing significant damage to the apartment structure. The fire was contained to the garage and exterior areas, and no residents were displaced.

The Naugatuck Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire. The Naugatuck Fire Police provided traffic control at the scene.
