Wilton, Maine — September 16 — On Tuesday morning, Wilton Fire & Rescue responded as part of a multi-agency effort to a structure fire on Union Street in Livermore Falls. The call came in at 1:05 a.m., bringing Livermore Falls Fire Department and mutual-aid companies to the scene. Lower floors sustained water damage but were spared from direct fire involvement.

All occupants safely evacuated the building prior to the arrival of first responders. The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
