Sept. 13, 2025 — Firefighters from the Golden’s Bridge Fire Department joined mutual aid partners this past weekend for a live burn training exercise hosted by the Croton Falls Fire Department and facilitated by Signal 73 Fire Training, LLC.

The hands-on training gave crews the chance to operate in real fire conditions, practicing critical skills including primary search, truck company operations, engine company operations, and hoseline deployment.

“These types of drills are invaluable,” the department noted. “They allow our firefighters to sharpen their skills in realistic scenarios so that when seconds matter most, we’re ready to serve our community.”

Golden’s Bridge Fire expressed gratitude to Croton Falls FD for hosting the exercise and to all mutual aid partners who participated in making the day a success.
