MEDFORD, NY - On Friday, October 6th, the Medford Fire Department hosted its annual fire prevention open house. The open house was hosted at Medford Fire Department headquarters located on Oregon Avenue. Live demonstrations conducted were a stove fire, vehicle extrication, and fire marshal canine accelerant detection. Various other community organizations and emergency agencies also attended.
