Sept. 27, 2025 — Members of the Woolwich Fire & Rescue Department went “back to basics” on Saturday morning with a drill focused on hose loads and deployment.

Captain Rob led the session, sharing his knowledge on the proper techniques for loading hose onto the engines’ two crosslays. Firefighters also practiced deploying the hose quickly and effectively in simulated incident conditions.

Regular refresher drills like these help ensure crews remain sharp, efficient, and ready when every second counts during emergency response.
