Driver Rescued, Homeowners Safe in Colchester Incident

Colchester, Vt. — September 15 — A pickup truck towing a trailer left the roadway on Main Street this morning and struck a home, sending one person to the hospital and causing structural damage.
Colchester firefighters extricated the driver, who was transported by Colchester Rescue to the University of Vermont Medical Center. VT USAR TF1 was called to assess the building’s stability. The residents inside the home evacuated safely and were unharmed.
