9/30/25 Bedford, NH. A 3-Alarm fire destroyed a large house on Winding Road. The call came in at 730 pm reporting a house fire 48 Winding Road. The fire appeared to have started in the attic and no one was home at the time of the fire. First due firefighters arrived to fire heavy fire showing and a Second alarm was transmitted. One firefighter was transported for smoke inhalation. A Third Alarm was called for tankers as the crews were experiencing water problems from nearby hydrants. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
