Hancock, ME - On Wednesday night 24 September, the department added a friendly competition to training. Two members at a time suited up in their gear as quickly as possible before “bowling” with a roll of hose. The first to knock down a pin in their lane won a prize. A young guest and future firefighter even helped roll the hose back up and reset the pins. While it may not have felt like traditional training, both donning gear and rolling hose remain essential fireground skills.
