South Portland Firefighters Conduct Citywide Aerial Operations Drills

South Portland, ME - The members of the South Portland Fire Department, along with Truck Tactics, conducted training with Ladder 45. On Monday, SPFD members and personnel from neighboring departments attended a lecture at South Portland High School. On Tuesday and Wednesday, crews practiced aerial operations and ladder placement at multiple real buildings across the city, gaining valuable learning points from each scenario.
