Edgewater Park, N.J. — September 1 — The Edgewater Park Volunteer Hose Company No. 1 Inc. is hosting a public CPR training session on Monday, at the E-Section Ballfield. Fire department members will teach hands-on CPR techniques to community members, aiming to increase bystander response in medical emergencies.

Officials noted that training citizens in CPR is a key part of community resilience. When more residents are prepared to respond immediately, the chances of positive outcomes in cardiac and medical incidents improve. The department encourages anyone in the area to stop by, learn the basics, and help strengthen local life-saving capacity.
