Cumberland Crews Extinguish Vehicle and Brush Fire on I-295

Cumberland, ME - On September 13, 2025, at approximately 15:40 hours, Cumberland Engine 101 and Heavy Rescue 103 responded to a reported car fire on I-295 southbound at mile marker 13. Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle fully involved in fire that had extended into the surrounding woods. Firefighters quickly extinguished both the vehicle and brush fires.
