Turret Salute at Cecil Airport

On Monday September 27th, 2021 firefighters from Jacksonville Fire Rescue Station 56 located at the Cecil Airport assisted U.S. Customs and Border Protection with a turret salute for a retiring P-3 crew member. The turret salute is a way for ARFF firefighters to honor a aviators last flight. Crash 561 and 562 are both 2019 Oshkosh Global Striker 3000 apparatus, with Crash 561 also having a 50’ Snozzle articulating boom and piercing nozzle.
