Lee, ME - Lee Fire Department responded yesterday to a report of a downed power line and a small grass fire in Webster Plantation. Upon arrival, crews coordinated with the power company, which shut off electricity so firefighters could ensure the fire was fully contained. The live wire had burned deep into the ground and even melted asphalt. Authorities remind residents never to approach a downed wire and to immediately call 911.
