North Conway, N.H. — September 22 — The North Conway Firefighters Association focused Monday night’s training on vehicle extrication, combining instruction with two hours of hands-on practice. Crews donned full PPE, stabilized two donated vehicles with cribbing, and used the department’s Holmatro hydraulic tools — cutters, spreaders, and rams — to remove doors, roofs, trunks, and dashboards.
Leaders stressed the importance of knowing how different vehicles respond to tools to ensure quick, safe extrications. The association thanked Bryant’s Towing of Center Conway for donating the vehicles and providing training space.
