Hancock, ME - The department switched up its regular training routine with a friendly competition. Two members at a time raced to don their gear as quickly as possible before “bowling” with a roll of hose. The first to knock down a pin in their lane claimed a prize.

A special guest—an aspiring future firefighter—helped by rolling the hose back up and resetting the pins. While the evening had a playful feel, the skills practiced—donning gear and rolling hose—remain essential fire ground functions.
