Stony Hill Firefighters Train on Vehicle Fire Suppression

Stony Hill — C.T.— September 8: The Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company conducted its routine Monday drill, which was centered on putting out vehicle fires, on the evening of September 8. Members, particularly the more recent ones, were able to get accustomed to working from the nozzle in a realistic setting through the exercise. According to command staff, the training reinforces safe techniques for putting out vehicle fires while fostering confidence and teamwork. Additionally, the organization invited the public to visit either firehouse on any Monday at 7 p.m. to learn more about membership and training.
