Mutual Aid Partners Join Ferrisburgh Fire Open House

Ferrisburgh, Vt. — September 20 —The Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire Department expressed its gratitude to community members who attended the department’s Open House, calling the event a success in bringing residents and first responders together.

The department also thanked its mutual-aid partners for their participation, including the City of Vergennes Fire Department, which brought its new aerial apparatus, and the Vergennes Area Rescue Squad, which displayed an ambulance and provided hands-on learning opportunities for children. Ferrisburgh Fire officials said community support and inter-agency cooperation are key to the success of events that highlight fire and life-safety education.
