Long Branch House Fire Escalates to Second Alarm; Sea Bright Firefighters Assist at Scene

Sea Bright, NJ - Emergency crews executed multiple life-saving rescues Wednesday as a rapidly developing second-alarm house fire trapped several residents inside a home in Long Branch.

On September 23, 2026, emergency dispatchers struck a second alarm for a confirmed, active structure fire in Long Branch with frantic 911 callers reporting multiple occupants trapped within the burning residence.

Among the mutual aid resources mobilized to the fireground, the Sea Bright Fire Department responded with Truck Company 43 and the department’s Fire Chief. Operating as the second-due ladder company on scene, Sea Bright personnel integrated directly into search, rescue, and ventilation operations alongside Long Branch firefighters.

Firefighters conducted immediate, aggressive primary searches under heavy fire conditions, successfully reaching and extricating multiple trapped occupants from the home.
