Cologne, N.J. —September 13 — On Saturday, the Germania Volunteer Fire Company proudly presented its new HME engine at the annual Wildwood Firemen’s Parade, one of New Jersey’s largest gatherings of fire service members and apparatus. The engine earned second place in the 0–5-year-old apparatus category, highlighting the department’s pride in its newest addition to the fleet.

The Wildwood parade, part of the New Jersey State Firemen’s Convention weekend, draws fire departments from across the state. The event is recognized for showcasing modern and historic apparatus and honoring the dedication of firefighters and volunteers.

Germania’s new HME engine was evaluated alongside other recently placed apparatus, with judges considering factors such as appearance, maintenance, and presentation. The second-place award was a proud moment for the department, recognizing its investment in modern, reliable equipment to serve the community.
