This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Rochester, NY - Rochester Firefighters arrived to Avenue A around 4:15 A.M. on Tuesday morning, September 22nd, to find all three levels of a home in flames.

Crews needed to wait for the attic to collapse before they could effectively begin knocking down the flames. This was an exterior attack only. The fire was under control within two hours.

The first floor of the vacant structure was completely boarded up, and officials deemed the fire suspicious after finding that a gas line in the home had been cut.
