Smoke Condition Leads to Fire Response on Southside Avenue

17 September 2025 - Units 57 and 52 were dispatched to a private dwelling on Southside Avenue after reports of smoke from the residence. Car 57 arrived on scene and confirmed smoke coming from the garage, initially reporting a possible basement fire. Upon further investigation, crews discovered an extinguished fire in the basement. The assignment was held to one engine and one truck from 57 Fire. The Fire Prevention Office is currently investigating the incident.
