Roselle, N.J. — September 14 — The Roselle Fire Department has given a preview of its upcoming addition to the fleet—a 2026 Spartan mid-mount aerial apparatus, expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2026.
According to department officials, the chassis for the new truck is currently in Pennsylvania undergoing the welding phase of construction. The new unit has been in planning for quite some time and is intended to modernize Roselle’s aerial capabilities.
The truck’s final appearance and configuration are expected to be similar to the recently delivered aerial apparatus in Milburn, which is serving as a reference for Roselle’s design.
The investment marks a significant step forward for Roselle, providing a modern platform to enhance both firefighting and rescue operations. As the build progresses, the department anticipates that the new mid-mount aerial will improve operational efficiency and better meet the demands of the community.
