LAKE HARMONY, Pa. (Monday, Sept. 15) — Lake Harmony Fire Company members focused on vehicle rescue techniques during a training session Monday night.
Firefighters reviewed and practiced with cutting tools from the rescue truck, first receiving demonstrations and then working hands-on with each piece of equipment.
The drill concluded with a scenario that required crews to create a third door on a minivan to simulate rescuing a victim trapped in the third row of the vehicle.
