YOUNGWOOD, Pa. — November 2 — A car accident on the Route 119 on-ramp to Route 30 East late on Sunday night prompted the Youngwood Volunteer Fire Department to help the Southwest Greensburg Fire Department. Rescue 26 arrived on the site and worked for over two hours, helping to rescue patients and lighting the area.
To ensure the area was safely managed and evacuated, firefighters collaborated with EMS, police, and towing services. The event demonstrated how area fire departments work together to respond to traffic emergencies at night.
