It was an active weekend for the department’s firefighters beyond the firehouse walls. Members took part in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at MetLife Stadium, a moving tribute to the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice. Others joined the Travis Manion 9/11 Heroes Run at Cooper River, running in honor of those lost while carrying forward the spirit of service. These events highlighted the firefighters’ deep commitment not only to their community, but also to remembering the legacy of heroism and resilience that defines 9/11.
