PATTON, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 17) — Members of Patton Fire Company No. 1 joined with Hastings Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 and staff from Miners Hospital this week for a training exercise on establishing, operating and demobilizing a decontamination system.
Officials said the joint drill was designed to strengthen preparedness for public health emergencies, ensuring crews are ready to respond if such measures are ever needed.
