Upper Makefield, Pa. — November 9 —While many enjoyed the mild weekend weather, 12 firefighters from the Upper Makefield Volunteer Fire Company (UMFC) spent Saturday improving their skills at the Lower Bucks County Emergency Services Training Center in Croydon.

Crews operating Engine 71 and Engine 81 took part in structural burn and hose line management exercises, which are key for staying ready for real emergencies. The live-fire environment allowed firefighters to practice coordination, nozzle techniques, and interior operations under controlled conditions.
