Leesburg Firefighters Contain Engine Fire Following Crash

Leesburg, N.J. — September 23 — At 10:42 a.m., the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the Leesburg section. Enroute, dispatch updated that a single vehicle had left the roadway, rolled over, and entered the wooded area.
When firefighters arrived, a bystander had already extricated the occupant from the vehicle, noting that the engine compartment was on fire. Crews swiftly extinguished the blaze before it could spread further. The patient was reported to have only minor injuries.
