PLUMSTEADVILLE, Pa. (Tuesday, Sept. 16) — Members of the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company this week practiced ventilation techniques using a new roof prop simulator, officials said.
The training involved cutting ventilation holes as would be done during a structure fire, while emphasizing safe use of tools and chainsaws. Fire officials said such drills help ensure volunteers are ready to respond with skill and confidence when emergencies arise.
