No Injuries in Selkirk School Bus Accident

September 19, 2025 — Selkirk Fire Department responded at approximately 3:20 p.m. Friday to a motor vehicle accident involving a car and a school bus on Route 9W at Old Town Road.
Emergency crews from Delmar-Bethlehem EMS and the Albany County Sheriff's Office EMS Division evaluated all occupants of both vehicles at the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the students or the driver of the car.
Students from the bus were safely transferred to another school bus to continue their trip home. The Albany County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
