Plattekill FD responded to reported structure fire on Sunny Acres Road on November 9th. Car one arrived and found two shed fully involved-was reported 100
gallon gas tank was in one shed-Requested Second Alarm Sounded:Cronomer Valley-Coldenham FD to scene-Modena Clintondale to scene with tankers.
Fire knocked down at ten minute status check-four hand lines in operation. Firefighters used hand tools to pick apart inside of sheds. No gas tank located.
Owners had animals outside close to shed area. Deputy Fire Coordinator 54-4 54-1 54-3-Orange County Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-12 36-13 at scene.
New York State Police was at scene. Ulster County Arson Task Force called to scene. Fire is under investigation.
