Colonie, NY – September 22, 2025 — The Fuller Road Fire Department hosted representatives from National Grid on Monday evening for a specialized First Responder Electric Safety training.
The class, presented by Roy Penn and Andy Prestigiacomo, focused on improving firefighters’ ability to safely and effectively respond to electrical emergencies while ensuring both firefighter and public safety.
Department officials called the session highly informative, noting that continuous training with industry partners like National Grid strengthens preparedness for real-world incidents involving downed wires, power equipment, or other electrical hazards.
