BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 17) — Penndel Volunteer Fire Company’s Tower 8 joined crews Wednesday morning at a three-alarm apartment fire at the Levittown Trace Apartments, officials said.

The tower was assigned to an adjacent self-storage facility to gain access to the rear of the building from Side C. Firefighters from Rescue/Ladder 11 assisted in cutting through a fence and covering the rear.

Tower 8 operated for about two hours before returning to service.
