Antrim Crews Responded to Two-Car MVC on Route 202

Antrim, NH — September 23 — Antrim Fire & Ambulance and Antrim Police arrived around 11:30 a.m.on Wednesday to respond to a two-vehicle collision on Route 202, where there was a possibility of someone being trapped.

Emergency personnel discovered a sedan and a full-size pickup truck involved in the crash.

The sedan had crossed the centerline and collided with the pickup, causing it to roll over several times. Two people inside the pickup sustained minor injuries. The driver of the sedan suffered head and chest injuries and managed to exit the vehicle on their own before firefighters arrived.

Emergency responders provided medical assistance and arranged for patient transport.

A helicopter from Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team was initially called for the Deering Airport but was later cancelled. All the injured individuals were transported by ground to Concord Hospital using ambulances from Antrim and Hillsborough.

Route 202 was temporarily closed during the incident while emergency crews worked at the scene and handled the vehicles.

Hillsborough Fire and Rescue provided assistance through mutual aid, and Hillsborough Police also supported the response.
