Fire breaks out in Bensalem church

BENSALEM, Pa. (Sunday, Sept. 7) — Firefighters from Bensalem Volunteer Fire Department’s Station 44 and 88 responded Sunday afternoon to a church fire on a box 65-17 assignment, officials said.
Engines 88 and Squad 44 arrived as the third- and fourth-due units, assisting with multiple tasks on the fireground. Crews remained in service for just under two hours before clearing the scene.
