BENSALEM, Pa. (Saturday, Sept. 13) — Bensalem Volunteer Fire Department crews responded Saturday afternoon to a dwelling fire in the 13-3 local, officials said.
Rescue 44 arrived as the rapid intervention team and was assigned to work on the second floor, where firefighters encountered heavy fire in the attic and knee walls.
Crews operated for about an hour and a half before returning to service.
